We’ve made the interview process simple that effortlessly draws out meaningful memories and captures your favorite moments, ensuring your story is told with heart.

Once we've gathered the interview content, either in person or remotely, we’ll bring it to life by blending it with your provided photos, videos, and music to create your Monument Film. Simply send us the materials that best represent your memories, and we’ll handle the rest, crafting a film that preserves your family’s history.
3. The Delivery
A Monument Film is more than just a video; it’s a treasured gift. Your film is delivered inside a custom Heritage Book and custom online gallery. When the cover is opened, your film begins playing on a built-in HD screen, making it easy to store on a coffee table or bookshelf. We believe that to tell a story well, we first need to understand it deeply. That’s why we’ve crafted a custom 3-step questionnaire designed to uncover the legacy of you or your loved one.

Take a walk down memory lane as you gather old photographs and videos. While you'll need to handle the digitizing process, we're here to help. If you need assistance, we can provide referrals to trusted services that will scan your photos and convert your films into a format that can be enjoyed for years to come.
3. story time
Now it’s time to bring the story to life. We’ll schedule an interview session with one of our trained filmmakers, who will guide the conversation using the familiar questions from our custom questionnaire. This process ensures that your family feels comfortable, allowing the story to unfold naturally.
4. Editing
With the interview, photos, and videos in hand, we’ll craft a beautifully edited film that weaves together music, visuals, and most importantly, your loved one’s story. With over a decade of experience, we create a final product that will become a cherished legacy, passed down through generations.

Yes! Heritage Films has a skilled videography team that can come directly to your home anywhere in the United States. With all the tools and experience to capture interviews with featured family member(s) for Legacy or Monument films.

Absolutely! The investment of a Heritage Film can be divided between as many family members and friends as you need. Please inform us how who will be sharing in the investment so we can accommodate it at booking.

No. We do recommend a family member or friend be present for the interview to create an environment that is enjoyable and to help get the most out of the interview. We will work with you prior to filming to make sue we are asking all the right questions.

Yes, Please! After filming the interview we will send out a follow up email for you to start getting those pictures/video together. We recommend waiting on this step until after we capture your loved one’s story. This way we are only getting pictures that relate to the stories they told.

It’s up to you! Interview time can be used to film as many people as you like, but we recommend one person for a Monument Film and up to two for a Legacy Film. This way we can focus on elements of the story that can connect to each other throughout the film.
